When in Dunedin, this is easily one of our favorites. Dined in and takeout, same great quality. Been here with friends and family, always hits the spot. Can’t go wrong with the ribs and my wife loves the half chicken dinner. All the sides are amazing, I love the sweet potato fries for a little twist on regular fries, baked beans, corn bread, coleslaw delicious. My kids loved the chicken tenders with fries. I’m probably forgetting something buy why are you still reading this… just go! You won’t be disappointed.

Stopped by for dinner and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The place has a fun BBQ smokehouse vibe with indoor and outdoor seating, live music on some nights, and friendly staff that kept things moving even when it was busy. The smoked wings and pulled pork were packed with flavor, and the sides were just as good especially the mac & cheese and onion rings. Portions were generous and the drinks were solid too. Some meats were a little hit or miss depending on the item, but overall the experience, service, and atmosphere made it a great spot to relax and enjoy some BBQ in downtown Dunedin.

Dunedin Smokehouse continues to be one of my favorite places to stop for lunch in downtown Dunedin. I visited today and had the Weight Watcher platter with ribs and beef brisket, and everything was excellent. The meats were flavorful, tender, and perfectly prepared, and the Brussels sprouts were absolutely terrific. One of the things I always appreciate about Dunedin Smokehouse is the consistently friendly and attentive service. I usually sit at the bar when I come in, and the staff always does a great job making people feel welcome and taken care of. The atmosphere is relaxed, comfortable, and authentically local, which makes it an easy place to return to again and again. Great food, great service, and a consistently enjoyable experience every time I visit. Highly recommended.

I visited the Smokehouse a couple weeks ago while staying in Dunedin. I had lunch there before with my wife a couple of years ago. This time I was alone for an early lunch, as I like to sometimes do. I had a club sandwich on an Italian roll and fries, which was quite good. I took half with me as I usually do when eating out, bringing my own take-out container. I had a diet soda and a beer, another thing I do most times. As they did not have a short beer, which is a plus for me, a pint not filled all the way will have to do. It is my desire to kick back for a peaceful interlude. It was a warm and sunny day in March in Dunedin, as usual. A plus was that they had metal utensils, instead of environmentally bad plastic. My server was Brooke who was friendly and attentive. I hope to return next year if this aging body holds out.

Delicious food with the option to sit inside or outside — both spaces felt comfortable and inviting. The staff were quick and attentive, even though they seemed a bit busy during our visit. Our order was taken promptly, and the food and drinks arrived in good time. Everything was fresh and tasty, and the place appeared clean and well-kept. Overall, a pleasant dining experience that I’d be happy to return to!
